Syntax

  • Description: The <SnomIPPhoneDirectory> tag object displays UTF-8 text on the display.
  • Sub Tags:
    • <Title>
    • <DirectoryEntry>
    • <Name>
    • <Telephone>
    • from FW > 7.1.30: You can use sel attribute in <MenuItem> and <DirectoryEntry> to preselect an item in a list.

e.g.

    • since 8.4.22 new attribute speedselect has been introduced:
<SnomIPPhoneDirectory speedselect="[valid value]">
...

There are three optional values:

    • off = speedselect is disabled
    • select = after having entered the numeric index number, the phone will jump to the related entry and will highlight it.
    • enter = after having entered the numeric index number, the phone will dial the entry immediately.
  • If no speedselect attribute is present, the default behaviour will be the same as configured with speedselect="enter".
  • Note: Please don't enter any control character into the <Text> message.

Usage

Snom phones allow navigation to a specific line in the menu or directory by pressing numeric DTMF keys (Speed Select) The menu or directory displays the actual number to be pressed on the left side of the display. Speed Select does not support more than 100 lines.
