Settings/Leds Behavior 8.4

These are all the led-controlling settings (available in versions > 8.2.18 and >= 8.4 till < 8.6.6):

The Led-settings contain a space-separated list of all states for which the named led-behavior should apply. There are several hard-coded states used in conjunction with presence (ocs and non-ocs).:

  • ocs: AVAILABLE,BUSY,IN_A_CALL,IN_A_MEETING,HOLDING,DND,INACTIVE,AWAY,OFFLINE,UNKNOWN
  • nonocs: AVAILABLE,UNAVAILABLE,ACTIVE,RINGING

Another way of determining the state-string is through key-dependent rules, see fkey-subtrees -> NotifyParsingRules with type='state'.

If a state is not present in the Led-settings then the led is turned off. If it's only not present in the color-setting, then the default color will be used (red on 8xx, orange on 3xx).

Note

Please be aware that the color settings are not supported on 3xx phones. You can set them values but they will be ignored.

Examples
1. If the content of 'led_blink_slow' is 'AWAY OFFLINE', the Led will blink slowly when the monitored extension's state becomes away or offline.
2. If 'led_blink_slow' is set to 'BUSY DND' and 'led_red' is set to 'BUSY IN_A_CALL', when the monitored extension's state becomes busy, the Led will blink slowly and its color will become red.
3. If 'led_blink_slow' is set to 'BUSY' and 'led_red_green' is set to 'BUSY IN_A_CALL', when the monitored extension's state becomes busy, the Led will blink slowly alternating colors red and green.
