FAQ/Why is the M3 using a wrong outgoing identity for calling certain extensions?

Answer

Depending on the selected handset language, there are certain numbers reserved for emergency calls. Those numbers are using the emergency dial plan and hence the defined emergency line, no matter which outgoing line has been chosen.

Emergency numbers cannot be configured manually but are preset. You should avoid using the following extensions if you encounter any weird phone behaviour:

Germany: 911, 112, 110, 999, 19222
Luxemburg: 112, 113
France: 112, 15, 18, 17
Italy: 112, 118, 115, 113, 114
Netherlands: 112
Greece: 112, 166, 199, 100
Ireland: 112, 999
Sweden: 112
Spain: 112, 061, 080, 091, 062
Denmark: 112
Finland: 112, 10022
Turky: 112, 110, 155
Switzerland: 144, 118, 117
Portugal: 112
Belgium: 112, 100, 101
Austria: 112, 144, 122, 133
United Kingdom: 112, 999
