FAQ/How to resolve handsets being stuck in update loop?

Answer

Please try the following:

  1. Switch the gateway off (remove power supply)
  2. Take the batteries out of the handsets and insert it again. Leave the gateway powered off!
  3. Check the fw version on the handset.
  4. Enter the menu and go to >> Settings >> System Settings >> Handset Settings and chose "Deregister Handset" and confirm.
  5. Go to >> Settings >> System Settings >> Handset Settings and chose "Reset handset".
  6. Now turn on the base station.
  7. Place the handset into the charger or register the handset manually. (We'd recommend performing this step with one handset first - so leave the other Handsets switched off)
  8. If all this doesn’t work out, you would need to reset the gateway to factory defaults (keep the reset button pressed for 10 seconds.)
