You must activate setting cmc feature in order to use the feature.

Since 8.7.5 You have to assign F_CMC key to the one of the softkeys defined for connected state:

  • Default softkeys assigment:

For example, you can use this feature to tag a call to a certain customer number with a client ID so that you can charge this customer for this call at the end of the month. When you call the customer, you will see a soft button called 'CMC' on your screen. You can press this button and enter a code which will cause an INFO message to be sent to the server, similar to the following:

The code that you have entered will be sent in header X-ClientCode.
The INFO message will be sent as a message within the current dialog, which means it will be connected to the current call by Call-ID, From-tag, To-tag etc. In this way the server will know that the current call must be tagged with number 555.
