Difference between standard interface and advanced interface

Unfortunately the standard headset interface is limited. The standard interface headset only listens for one command, and that is incoming call indication. It is not possible to control the headset from the phone and turn it on or off.

To do that the extended interface is needed. That is e.g. supported by the GN9350 headset. The snom Wireless Headset Adapter supports both the standard and extended interface.
